Sunday morning. It snowed. Temperature has dropped over night. The sky was bright. The houses and streets were covered with snow. I had to go out. A thousand times I was at that park in walking distance. I took pictures there so often that I had the feeling I’ve captured every tiny leave. Today I packed my baby lens in my handbag. I wanted to alter anything. Not again the same routine, I thought The baby lens allowed me to discover the park differently. The snow made the air dizzy. I couldn’t look far. My eyes were half-closed. The baby lens was exactly the right lens to capture this. It produces a blurriness that reflected exactly my view. Half blind and happy I walked in the snow. A few kids with their parents were out. Snow is very special not only for children. The parents pulled the sleds with the kids on it. Life can have comfortable sides. I walked and walked and walked. The snow had changed the city so much that it was as if I landed on a different planet. There is exotic around the corner……one must only learn to see.
A winter day.
